Volunteers needed to help with a group of designers, scientists, landscape architects, and sculptors' RISD SHELL-ter project installation this Saturday, June 18th! The sculptural shellfish habitat forms will be installed in India Point Park with the goal of improving sustainability of local shellfish populations and protecting coastal habitats from the impact of sea level rise.
If interested, wear closed-toe shoes, bring a sunhat, and meet in India Point Park at 9 a.m.; look for the red tent and RISD shirts! Full press release courtesy of the RISD Landscape Architecture department, available at naturelab.risd.edu/events
